Why Kannada translation should be your next big marketing stint?

Is translating your business from English to Kannada a wise move? We can help you decide. Developed from the fifth-century Kadamba script, Kannada is a Dravidian language spoken predominantly in India’s southwestern region. Over 43 million people speak Kannada as their mother tongue, with 12.9 million additional non-native speakers. The language also has a rich history as it was widely spoken in the courts of the Rashtrakuta dynasty, Chalukya dynasty, and the Vijaynagar empire, among others. The language is also famous for its massive contribution to the field of literature.  Influenced by the Navodaya, Navya, and Dalita movement of the 20th century, Kannada emerged as one of the most prominent literary languages in the country. Works of Kannada language have also won the Jnanpith award a total of eight times, making it the only Indian language with the most awards.  With such popularity, it is difficult to ascertain why Kannada translation isn’t practiced as widely as it should be.
